What's a 20 year old unopened bottle of Jack Daniels black label worth?
i would pay 100 dollars for it
I sorta doubt that it's worth 2000
Which proof is it? I think the older, higher proof is a worth more but I'm not a Jack aficionado.
This isn't really sought by any collectors currently. Stash it away for another 50 years. Value is slightly more than a bottle of Jack today.
I have a 1970s vintage can of Billy Beer. I am quite sure it's extremely rare. I want lots of money for this one. I know that old means both rare and priceless and this one's definitely old. Plus, it has a former presidents dead little brother for a namesake. I want $10,000.
What proof is it? It is unopened? Jack Daniels black label is currently 80 proof and has been for some years. Before that it was 86 proof. Before that it was 90 proof (which I and a lot of people 40+ remember). If it is 80 proof its probably not worth more than retail unless it differs from the current design (the older bottles were more rounded than the sharp edged current ones) or is some limited edition. If its 86 proof it should demand a premium as its not made anymore and has a higher proof. People bitched when Jack went to 86 I think more than when it went to 80. If its 90 proof it should go for (I think) a lot more than retail ($100, $150?) but I have no idea as to its actual value. A liter should go for more than a fifth. If its a 90 proof QUART, god only knows! Condition of label and if it has a gift box that matches also should make it worth more. If it something special you might save it for when you get married or have your first child or grandchild. Good luck.
