Hi
I have been thinking of brewing my own beer (I tend to think a lot before I actually do) and I was wondering what bottles you use for bottling? do you recycle the bottles? If so, do you start with new bottles and recycle from then on out, or do you start with recycled bottles?
Thanks

Yea start saving your bottles. Everytime I pour one I rinse them out, wash and dry next morning. Quit buying beer with twist lock and buy brown bottle to help keep light out of it.I got some old milk creats to help organize them.

Yeah to start out I did the same thing but I decided to buy a few cases of Grolsch which cost the same as buying and shipping a case of bottles. If you do go for the cap type my suggestion is go for thicker bottles if you can find em. Check with your local bar that sells other than american beers.
