Hi
I was wondering if you stirred your brew before you bottled it to make sure that the yeast was distributed evenly?
thanks

I do. I stir it slowly the whole time. I got one of the fillers with a spring in it so I can do both and have a little more control.

I think he is asking if you stir up everything before you bottle so the yeast is mixed in really well and gets evenly distributed to the bottles.

Your right I was thinking of somthing else, sometimes I pitch my yeast in a primary so I can split it up. Like doing a 1.5 gal batch so I can use 2 1 gal carboys. Also had soda on my mind.

So we are talking beer I am assuming... and therefore I don't understand why you would be adding yeast during bottling Even the clearest beer will have enough yeast cells in it to ferment out the priming sugar after bottling
