label etiquette question... I am making some kit wines and am wondering what you guys think about making my own labels for these wines or using the kit manufacturers labels. I enjoy making the labels as much as making the wines, but I was thinking that maybe that wasn't proper protocol. I don't want to neglect the juice manufacturer, but I enjoy creating labels that mean something to me and my family. For instance, my son just got accepted into the U.S. Naval Academy, so I was going to name my Pinot Noir "ANNAPOLIS GOLD" in his honor and create a fancy commemorative label. Am I stepping on toes by claiming credit for a wine I created, even though it was from a kit? I hope I have asked this question in such a way as to not confuse anyone. What do you guys think?

They only did half the work ,put something at the bottom right corner, call it their credits, and do whats fun for you. If spending time on the labels is your thing then do it

thanks for the input. I am a Chief Petty Officer in the Navy as well. My hat is always off to you sub guys. Don't know how you do it. Personally, I need the fresh air that only a flight deck can offer.
