I want to buy a bottle of alcohol the day my son is born and then open it when he turns 21. What should I buy?

Scotch, a drinker's drink. buy a nice bottle of single malt scotch.

Have to agree...

If I hear the phrase "Let's have a drink of this 20 year old BLANK" Blank can only be scotch.

In a related vein, something to be said for buying a bottle of Dom Perignon the vintage your child is born. It's less expensive "fresh", more women also like champagne, and Dom has a pedigree even ancient Glenlivet has to acknowledge.
