The local hops restaurant here in Central Florida just got a new beer..its called "Single Hop Ale". It used one hob variety that is called Santium that was imported from Germany. Wow...this is one great beer.. I have had beers from all over the world, and have had most of the beers at the Hops chains, and they have been OK...but this beer is simply amazing... by far the best beer ever at least at this particular Hops location. Its hard to explain why it was so great...it had a smoothness to it...the hop flavor was just different than any other hop flavor I have experienced in the past from any other beer. It will be there for only another 2 weeks so I will be going there after dinner to just drink a glass of it alone with no other food a few times. This is a beer that makes one sit back and savor life.... A nice rare treat that makes life good. If a commercial bottler ever bottled this beer, at least the batch that I had, it would be a HUGE hit...but alas it would never happen. No, I do not work for Hops restaurants, I am just someone that will greatly miss this beer when it's soon gone.
