I have a Pinot that is in a carboy. It finished fermenting and I added sulfites until I could bottle it but it has turned the dreaded orange color. What can I do to fix it if anything? It has a strong smell of alcohol like that of whiskey.

This happened to me one time too, thought I was making sherry, lol. That orange color is probably just tannins and/or malic acid that hasn't fallen out yet. Let it sit for 9 months in the carboy if you can. Sometimes those apricot colored wines can be renamed 'blossom'.
