I got a bottle at an estate sale: Very Very Old Fitzgerald 100 Proof Eighteen Years old. Barreled in 1951, bottled in 1969. Box is a little torn on the seems. Bottle in perfect condition with the red seal tax still on. The bottle has "A Collector's Item" label.
Any idea of worth? Looks like some different years have sold for several hundred on ebay.
i'll give you 200.00
A search on ebay indicates it is worth far more than 200. I will be posting on ebay for sale soon.
WOW! Just got an offer for $900. Keep bidding!
I'm very happy for you good going.
What happened to the auction?
Final update. Amazingly we sold it for $1,500! I'm astonished.
Your bottle is worth about $300 give or take a few bucks.
Check sold items in Ebay. If you choose to sell it on Ebay there are some very specific language you have to out in your listing. Be careful with direct offers, we had one guy that tried to cheat us.
Do you still have this bottle? If you do, shoot me an email (see attached pic)
