Did you use the red or white, if red that twang will not go away.

no detectable twang in my last bottle. i used 2 cans of welches concord concentrate per gallon.

a real wine drinker tried it at my superbowl party yesterday. she said it tasted like the real stuff. she also said the grape cocktail i made as well (13.85%) tasted "juicie" .

i like the juicie stuff better.

anyhow, maybe our limestone water or the type of yeast i used makes the difference.

Damage do you think it taste twangy before you drink it? Welch's red has a twangy taste in it before you ferment it and stays in it.
