Drink to Summer!

So it was 47 degrees celcius here today.... I think about 117F in the old scale (almost Death Valley stuff!). And I'm enjoying my first ever ice cold home brew frothy more than I have ever enjoyed one before!

I realise its not summer in US but interested to know... what do guys like to drink in furnace like temperatures?

Yeah I was gonna say, Drink to Summer?? Up we we drink TILL summer LOL!!

I like a mexican style brew ice cold with a lime in it.

no fruit in my beer .. or nutmeg ..
summer is great for the lighter beers .. anything light and hoppy

47 degrees.... Are you teasing us OZ? It's minus 20 degrees in northern Alberta Canada here. Have a cold one for me, would ya. I'll just have some strong wine to warm me up. We don't even get that hot out here in the summer time, and I wouldn't want it to neither. It's hot enough to raise camels out there. Enjoy your cold brew OZ, I'm thinking of you.

no not teasing you. It was 47 degrees on the day I wrote that. Have you heard about the bush fires in Oz? Well the majority of them started on that day. So obviously it is not the norm. This time of year we normally get temps around 30 to 32. Sometimes up to 40. But that was definitely the hottest its been in my lifetime. Never gets to -20c here. Coldest it gets in my town is about 5c (the extreme) in the middle of winter. That is cold enough for me!
